Best Cities To Live In
10. Berlin, Germany
Seeing as Germany is one of the richest & most modern countries in the world it goes without saying that the employment opportunities are endless. This city offers a high level of life. Although the culture does lack when in comparison to some of its European counterparts. With Germany's economy back on the upswing, this city makes the list for pure economic reasons. 9. Paris, France Aww Paris, what can't be said about Paris? The city is beautiful, the culture rich, & the public transportation great. The privilege of living in Paris is rare to come by but if one gets the chance I would recommend they take it, even if just for a few years as surely that will advance their life status. 8. Dublin, Ireland Dublin is definitely one of my favourite cities in Western Europe. The city is also a Euro Zone powerhouse, with Ireland having the fastest growing economy in the EU. Even more on the upside of living in Dublin, the nightlife is raging, drunk Irish girls everywhere, all drunk & Irish, with that great accent. 7. Barcelona, Spain Spain is a wonderful land, Valencia, Ibiza, Mallorca, Sevilla, San Sebastian, Madrid, & of course Barcelona. With a beautiful waterfront, exciting nightlife, close proximity to the French Riviera, & ferries departing daily to Ibiza, it has to make this list! 6. Sydney, Australia Hasn't everyone dreamed of being a Sydneysider, spending all day on Manly Beach watching the ferris wheel go round. Bondi with the volleyball, Hyde Park & its free concerts, the mall at Darling Harbour. All these things along with the bridge, & opera house make Sydney the world's fourth best city to live. Way better than Melbourne in so many ways, Sydney is Australia's primo city, too bad Australia is just so far away from everything, except New Zealand but that doesn't really count. 5. Buenos Aires, Argentina Buenos Aires is the culture capital of the Western Hemisphere. The grand boulevards, the fashionable people. The city just can't be beat. Sure the economy isn't doing so hot, but it's rebounding, & if but for the moment this city is still one of the cheapest places in the world to reside. 4. Hong Kong, Hong Kong The banking capital of the Far East. Hong Kong has been for the past half-century or so one of the world's best places to live. While its economic dominance is now being challenged by Shanghai, along with Tokyo captivating many people's minds. Hong Kong still just makes the most sense. Besides unlike Japan & mainland China, English is widespread in Hong Kong. 3. Los Angeles, USA Los Angeles is where western culture is defined. The trends on the streets here influence the world, & no place has as many trends. From free yoga lessons for dogs in the parks, to eating sushi off a naked model's body at a popular restaurant. Everything is here. People may have think Hollywood died, but it didn't. That along with Venice Beach, & Santa Monica make Los Angeles my home, & one of the best cities I've ever experienced. 2. Amsterdam, Holland Who doesn't love Holland? Six billion people in the world, & the Dutch are by far the most free. Amsterdam of course being the liberal "Mecca" of the world. A strong economy, friendly people, & one of the most educated societies on earth. Near free university is but just one of the many perks that come with being a resident. Amsterdam of course being my second home, there's nothing like drugs, liquor, gambling, & hookers all on the same street. 1. Montreal, Canada Freezing cold in the winter, although some people like the winter (not sure who). Montreal is one of the most multicultural, & cosmopolitan cities in the world. Which can help explain the abundance of beautiful women, diverse restaurants, & an awesome nightlife. And plus they speak French, which is the language of love, some say the best language in the world, (I said that). Montreal's economy is growing rapidly, this when combined with Canada being routinely voted as the best nation in the world in which to live by the United Nations, makes Montreal despite it's cold winter climate The Best City In The World in Which To Live! |
